Information For Tenants, Landlords, Local Employers and Prospective Tenants

JEM Lettings is operating restricted services whilst following the NHS and Governmental Guidance.   Our office will remain manned with one key worker but please do not visit our office until further notice. The following sets out ways in which to contact us – please only call us if you have a household emergency or are arriving/departing a property.

Effective immediately, the JEM Lettings team have instigated the following precautions:-

Prospective Tenants & Local Employers. 

  • Postponement of all face-to-face viewings and meetings;
  • Please make enquiries via enquiries@jemlettings.co.uk, where arrangements can be made to share property details;
  • Unaccompanied arrivals & departures only.
  • Rental Payments via bank transfer or bank/credit card only.  No cash payments.

Tenants

  • Postponement of all none essential maintenance;
  • All non-emergency enquiries should be made via enquiries@jemlettings.co.uk;
  • Emergency enquiries (e.g. plumbing, heating, gas) please call Jean Mease on 07999 349387;
  • Arrivals and departures will be un-accompanied – please call Jean Mease on 07999 349387 before you arrive or leave.  You will be provided with information for safe key pick up / drop off;
  • Before departing a property you must advise JEM Lettings by phone of your departure and departure date. Wherever possible please share details of your intentions to return, discuss rental payment arrangements and return keys if applicable.  Please call Wendy Kinnell on 0750 0808754;
  • Laundry & Cleaning – all laundry, towel and cleaning services have temporarily ceased.  We would politely ask that Tenants maintain their rooms and communal areas to a hygienic standard and to the standards set out by the Authorities;
  • If you are in shared accommodation please ensure that you follow all current guidelines provided by the UK Government and NHS;
  • Where there is emergency work required, please ensure that you provide access to the area, maintaining social distancing at all times and follow any instructions or requests made by the emergency worker(s);
  • Wherever possible please minimize cash transactions and make rental payments via Bank Transfer or Bank/Credit card.  If you are unable to do this please discuss with a member of the team.
  • Please inform us immediately if you suspect or are confirmed with COVID-19 or have chosen to self isolate for other reasons.
